my first Holgas: where no 2 photos are alike and each negative reveals a surprise

give me some business, eh? take a gander!

culinary wind chimes

the exquisite e

this was the best fun i've had in years with a camera. i am so stoked about the results that i'm anxious to get out there and burn a hole in my pocket shooting, which won't take long as i have a good stretch of days off coming this week. doesn't my daughter photograph so beautifully on film? i could squeal!

  1. Excellent shots! Nothing compares to film. If you like shooting black and white, it really is worth getting some gear together to develop it yourself. It's much cheaper and very satisfying to have control over the entire process. You don't need a darkroom to process the film.......so don't make that excuse!

  4. Film is magical! I used to love to develop my pictures in the dark room and watch the image appear and I'd be giddy with excitement....oh to be able to have that dark room again and the patience with waiting. I'm in love with your captures K! ANd yes your girl is amazing in film but she would be amazing on anything!

  8. Lauren i so miss doing the work myself! it's been years (photography was my first major) but i'd be willing provided i could find any room in our tiny home :) i will definitely look into it. i miss the smell of those chemicals and manipulating the outcome of my photos.
