historical matrimony
(pentax k1000, kodak ektar 100)

this historical site in town is considered our cultural center and is housed in a beautifully restored Mediterranean revival-style hotel. it is adorned with gardens and walking paths, beautiful architecture and is a favorite spot to choose for weddings and/or receptions. there is an art gallery upstairs that often features local work by our budding artisans (grade school and up) but they also have showings from all over the world (i missed a huge chinese photography exhibit just before leaving for china! sigh).

we visited a week ago and spent over 2 hours just wandering through the gardens and galleries.

how was your weekend?

  1. I adore your angle in taking your photos, something I know I have to work on. My favorite one is the photo with ink - surreal!

The weekend was a pretty one thank you, I ate first time outside on the balcony and walked by a shore of a lake with smiling faces. And a new weekend is soon arriving!

    Have a happy day.
